nursery is ready for move in day!

The trim is up, now just needs to be sanded and painted white

transforming our bookshelf and building it/framing it into an additional closet for the baby. closet door should be arriving this weekend.

painting the trim white

Getting rid of the beige color and painting over it with pale pale pink!

lots of taping involved for ALL the boxes and trim. Richard was so dedicated, he stayed up till 2:30am this night, he just really wanted to get all the pink painting done and completed in one stretch! after this evening i no longer asked if we could do boxes in our bedroom, or at least in our near future....taping all the individual boxes for painting prep took FOREVER.....by the look on richard's face i could tell even joking about maybe doing crown molding in our bedroom on his paternity leave wasn't even a good idea to bring up either that week! :)

finally finished with all the painting!

nursery is ready for move in day tomorrow! i can't wait to set up her furniture and move her all in, now we just need our baby (well not for about 3 more weeks, we can wait for that part!) thanks richard for making such a beautiful nursery for our little girl, since i really couldn't contribute much this week with the huge belly getting in the way and my aches and pains. and thank you for agreeing on pink paint :)

you are going to be an amazing dad!!!!
