richard took the day off work for his bday and his mom came in town for a visit. we all went to cactus for a birthday lunch, walked along alki for a bit, then later that evening had friends over for a birthday bbq. my parents watched harley for a few hours during the bbq at their place so that richard and i could have a night off and visit with friends. tho i missed her a lot, it was nice to have a few hours to ourselves and socialize among the adults and have a glass of wine, and richard birthday beers!
