No more dark brown wood wall!

This weekend Richard and I painted the living room a tannish color. It actually looks a bit of a brown olive color in the evening. We painted over the dark brown very 70s looking wood wall and now the room looks so much brighter and warmer. We ended up only painting two sides of the wall, so that we would have a bit of contrast with the original beige color, so it only took us a few hours each time which was nice.  Next project, onto painting our bedroom...we are thinking a greenish color, so off to home depot this week to get some color samples.
