fresh veggies and herbs

Tho our topsy turveys are slowly coming to a halt as fall approaches.  Overall, we got a handful of strawberries this summer from the strawberry turvey and this evening got our first 2 big juicy tomatoes from the tomato turveys.  We didn't have much luck with the topsy turveys this season, but next year's goal is to plant a vegetable garden in the backyard and hopefully we will be master gardeners by then and have more luck in growing!  Our plan is to fill the garden with cucumbers, zucchini, squash, and pumpkins.  I can't wait! We are also planning on planting on a small herb garden as well. I tried this summer to grow a few herbs out of pots, but in the picture below, that is about all the basil we got were able to grow all summer.  Till next summer!
