fish...it's what's for dinner

This weekend Richard and friends went to Westport for Ivan's bachelor party. (While Randi the future bride to be celebrated a weekend with us here in Seattle...more pictures to come this week from our girls weekend) The boys went deep sea fishing on Saturday and had a blast. It was sunny, great weather to be out all day on a boat, and they all managed to catch the limit for the day. Last night Richard returned and showed me all the prized possessions that he caught himself: 2 ling cod and 10 sea bass.  We had mom and dad over last night for a bbq and a fresh fish feast and tried one of each. They were delicious! We still have a lot left over in the freezer...so looks like it'll be fish for dinner for quite a while. I love fish so looking forward to trying some new marinades!
